As per Reserve Bank of India directives, the Bank has implemented a Positive Pay System (PPS) for all modes of cheque payments (Cash/Transfer/Clearing) effective from 01.01.2021 in a bid to enhance safety and eliminate cheque-related frauds by reconfirming key details of large value cheques.
- The Customers need to share the following details of the issued cheque immediately to the bank
1. Drawers Account Number
2. Cheque Number
3. Cheque Date
4. Amount
5. Payee's Name
